Billings TrailNet has been raising money and advocating for our community-wide trails since 2002. We now have 50 miles of trails and they are popular with walkers, runners, dog walkers, bicyclists, skateboarders and wheelchair users.

This year, in 2025 Billings TrailNet will be giving $186,000 in total funds for repairing, refurbishing, connecting and developing trails in Billings:

  • $52,000 to rebuild the trail at Lillis Park
  • $32,000 to build and repair trails at Rose Park
  • $65,000 to connect a new neighborhood to the Big Ditch Trail
  • $20,00 for designing two connections
  • $11,000 to add directional signs along the Jim Dutcher Trail
  • $6,000 to repair the Black Otter Trail

Yellowstone Valley Gives has been a critically important part of our success at raising big money for these projects! Our community relies on the generosity of the people who donate through Yellowstone Valley Gives, and all year round, to help build and maintain our trail system used by so many in our community.

Billings Community Foundation has inspired so many people to give, and has been a great partner in our success.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 during this year’s Yellowstone Valley Gives! We have a $15,000 match! That means our generous matching donors will match your donations dollar for dollar until we’ve raised $15,000!
