Cyclists, join us for Bike Your Park Day on September 25!

In conjunction with National Public Lands Day where BTN Executive Director Kristi Drake will be hosting a table at Norm’s Island, she’ll be leading a ride to the park beginning at 8:15  am Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 from the corner of Virginia and Rimrock Road in the MSUB parking lot, over to Norm’s Island.

This worldwide event is hosted by Adventure Cycling and is meant to inspire and empower thousands of people to bike in or to nearby parks and public lands. The ride to Norm’s Island is appropriate for bicyclists who feel comfortable riding on roads as well as trails for 10 miles (intermediate to advanced bicyclists). Be sure to bring a water bottle, helmet, sunscreen, riding shoes and have your tires pumped up!

You will need to return without a leader, because Kristi will be staying at the National Public Lands Day event until 2 pm.

You can register to ride on the Adventure Cycling website to win sweepstakes prizes!
