If you have experience in event planning and volunteer management, we would like to talk with you!

This will be a part time, paid position.

This position is responsible for promoting Billings TrailNet through organizing, hosting and promoting events, representing our organization to the greater community through these events and maintaining relationships with guests, event planning committees, volunteers and event venue personnel.

In this position you will be responsible for leading a team of volunteers to plan, implement and host events; especially Ales for Trails. You will ensures volunteers are trained, guests are happy and events run smoothly.

Essential Functions:

1. Coordinates monthly and quarterly events

Works with Events Committee to ensure events are successful. This includes:

• member events

• bicycle safety classes (as needed)

Organizes and promotes Billings TrailNet’s annual events, including:

• April, May or June- Tour de Fleur (flower-themed bicycle ride)

• June- The Active Life Festival at the Heart & Sole Run

• summer- Annual Meeting and Trail Summit

• September- Ales for Trails

• November- Membership Appreciation Event

• A new fundraising event to be determined at a date to be determined

2. Organizes volunteers for event support/staffing

3. Works closely with Development and Marketing manager to ensure events are promoted in a timely manner, giving guests ample time to plan to attend
